Our diverse musical programs, from the Worship Choir and Orchestra to the Kids Choir and handbell ensembles, reflect our commitment to nurturing musical talents across all ages. At Sunrise United Methodist Church, we place immense value on caring for one another. Our caring ministries reflect our deep commitment to supporting our community through life's joys and challenges. From pastoral care visits and prayer support to assisting with significant life events like funerals and weddings, we strive to embody Christ's love in tangible ways. We believe that by nurturing connections, offering compassionate support, and walking alongside each other in times of need, we not only strengthen our church family but also live out our calling to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. Our dedicated team of caring professionals and volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that no one in our congregation feels alone or unsupported, fostering a culture of love, empathy, and mutual care that is at the heart of our faith journey together. 

Connection ministries form the heart of our church community, playing a crucial role in fostering spiritual growth and building strong, supportive relationships. We offer a diverse range of small groups, Bible studies, classes, and fellowship opportunities that cater to individuals at every stage of their faith journey. From our active United Methodist Men and United Women in Faith circles to our engaging Sunrise Players community theater and various adult education programs, we've cultivated welcoming spaces where everyone can find belonging, deepen their relationship with God, and put their faith into action. Our children's ministries, including Sunday School and nursery care, provide a nurturing environment for our youngest members to begin their spiritual journey. These ministries serve as the foundation of our church family, enabling us to uplift one another, grow together in faith, and live out our commitment to being an inclusive community that truly embodies open hearts, open minds, and open doors for all ages. 

At Sunrise Community, we deeply value our mission work as an integral part of our faith and service. Our diverse range of partnerships, from Fostering Hope to One Nation Walking Together, reflects our commitment to addressing various needs in our community and beyond. We believe that through these missions, we're not just providing material support, but also spreading hope, love, and the message of Christ. By engaging in food drives, clothing collections, and hands-on volunteer work, we're living out our calling to be the hands and feet of Jesus. These missions allow us to build meaningful relationships, foster understanding, and make a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.
