Sunday School
Our traditional worship service is familiar, with a unique Sunrise touch! It incorporates recognizable elements such as hymns led by our Worship Choir and Orchestra, clergy often wear robes, we open with a collective opening liturgy, and an affirmation of faith. These are all woven together with the consistent thread of joy and praise that characterizes every Sunrise gathering.
- Children from 3 years old to 5th grade are welcome to join us in worship or go to Sunday School after the children's moment.
- We provide childcare in our nursery for children under 3.
- Dress is generally more formal but you are welcome to dress however you feel most comfortable.

Your First VisiT
Parking
We are located at 2655 Briargate Blvd in Colorado Springs. The entrance is located just west of our Sunrise United Methodist Church sign.
Keep straight to the main lot which is located behind the building.
You will find plenty of accessible parking spots by our main entrance. There is a ramp to the right of the main doors.

Kids
Kids are not just our future, they are also our present! We welcome children to lead some elements of worship (they do a fabulous job!), youth often join us for choir or orchestra, we say the Lord's Prayer together every Sunday, and we have a strong, vibrant Sunday School during the 10:30 service. Kids are invited to worship with their families at the 9:00 service. Their wiggles are welcome at any gathering!
The Children's Welcome desk is one of the first things you see when you enter on Sunday morning. Staff makes a point of learning the kids and their names quickly, so they feel welcomed and included. For the 10:30 service and Sunday School, we check-in kids at the welcome desk with name tags and then they worship with their families until the children's moment. After which they head to Sunday School class. When worship is over, you head upstairs to the Family Ministries Center to sign them out.

Youth
As with our Sunrise Kids, our 6-12 graders are active members of our community. We have frequent youth events that include game nights, retreats, and Sunday School. You will also find youth in the tech booth, setting up snacks and coffee, helping with the kids, leading worship, and so much more! We want them to feel like they are part of our community, because they are!
Sunday school for our youth is during the 10:30 service hour. They meet upstairs in Fellowship Hall with large group games and small group time. Other events are advertised through Church communications, on the youth Facebook page, and sent directly to email.

Wednesday Nights
Would you like another place to plug in and learn about Sunrise? Welcome to Faith & Fellowship Wednesday Nights! At Sunrise, we offer engaging programming for all ages, from children to adults. Our dedicated leaders and teachers have crafted faith-building activities and fellowship opportunities designed to deepen our relationship with God and strengthen our bonds with one another. Whether you're seeking spiritual growth, meaningful connections, or a place to belong, our Wednesday nights provide the perfect setting. Join us as we grow together in faith and community, creating lasting memories and nurturing our spiritual journeys.

As part of Faith & Fellowship Nights, kids from potty-trained PreK through 2nd grade are invited to come sing with our Children's Choir (6:00 to 6:30), and youth from 2nd grade through 9th are invited to ring with Peals of Joy (5:30 to 6:00), and grow their faith together with our Family Ministries!

You’ve heard the stories of Genesis all your life, but you’ve never heard them like this! For this first Faith & Fellowship session, we will discuss select stories from the book of Genesis. See you there!
